The following "interview", though obviously a fictional event, accurately portrays what the ghost of Adolf Hitler would say in his defense if he could be interviewed today. His "answers" to WCBC talk-show host Ogre Winfield’s questions are mostly based upon an extensive and careful reading of his writings and speeches from 1921-1945, as well as those of his inner circle and others who knew him and survived the war.
One is at liberty to reflexively dismiss the veracity or accuracy of Hitler's version of events if one so chooses. However, what cannot be disputed is this Hitler's responses to Ogre’s questions truly represent what he would say if such an interview could take place. Indeed, some of Hitler's answers are direct quotes taken from his own speeches and writings. So if Hitler’s account does not please you, take it up with him.
In regard to the fictional Ogre’s reaction, admittedly "artistic license" was taken there. But as for the portrayal of Hitler’s point of view, there can be no dispute. If such a made-for-TV event were possible, it would surely be the most watched show in broadcast history. You know you would watch it! Now, here is your chance.
Don't let the whimsical setting of Interview with Hitler distract you too much, for this is utterly serious and scholarly history. For a more in-depth and fully sourced understanding of World War II, The Bad War (also by M S King) is recommended as a companion book to Interview with Hitler.

I've been reading this on the train back and forth to work every day and it's the kind of book I could read from start to finish in one seating if I had the time. I can't get enough of M.S. Great stuff!
Unknown and suppressed facts presented in a humorous way.
Very light reading but serious facts. Maybe MS king portraits Hitler with only a good side, and as a human being as we all do, he has his defects too. But in general in a very original format, the real deeds of the life and history of Germany and Hitler are clarified, exposed in a logical way, helped by the fact that when you write with someting very close to the truth, everything falls into place very clearly. I recommend this book to get an approach to history not written by propaganda, but history that helps to understand our reality.
Imaginative format allows the reader to glean the book's points readily.Another very good book informing us of the German side of WW2 from this well known author on this topic.
A lot has been written about how bad Hitler was but this book, along with many others, shows a different side of the story. M S King does an outstanding job of putting what actually happened in a context that will make any reader searching for truth to at least stop and think. After reading this book I asked myself, why did the U.S. and British side with Stalin to defeat Germany when Stalin murdered many more innocent people than Hitler was accused of killing.
Amazing idea. Amazing work. Important subject. Few people have been subjected to as many outright lies as as Hitler. I don't lionize him. He wasn't a saint. But no one deserves to be lied about. Let the truth be known and the chips will fall how they may. This book, while fiction, is based on reality and hardcore research. If you're looking for a readable, engaging version of Hitler's story, get the book.
Hilarious parody but very informative. As far as I can tell, entirely factual and accurate. Delightful to hear the other side of the story. I recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about that period in history who can set aside the preconceived notions we've all been fed for years.
Back in the 1970's my German Mother-in-Law started telling me a different story of National Socialist Germany, completely at odds with my education of that era from my Canadian school days. By the time of the Toronto Ernst Zundel trials in the 1980's, i knew something was very fishy about the whole history about Germany of 1933-1945. I started an exhaustive research of that time including the so-called Holocaust. What i found very quickly is that everything we've been told - EVERYTHING - is a lie. The victors write the history. This "Interview With Hitler" publication, though a parody, is a very clever, but entertaining way to produce the truth. I highly recommend this book.
